I’m an Earth System Scientist and a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Climate Modeling & Impacts Group at Dartmouth College. I am interested in mitigating the risks and drivers of climate change. Within this context, my work focuses on decarbonization, carbon removal, and the attribution of climate-related damages.
I earned my Ph.D. in Earth System Science from UC Irvine’s Department of Earth System Science, where I focused on human-Earth system interactions related to climate change, energy production, and agricultural systems. Before this, I was a researcher at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, analyzing wildfire data collected by the MISR instrument aboard the Terra satellite and studying the effects of smoke plumes on the Earth system.
I am also the chair of the leadership of the National Postdoctoral Association’s Engagement Committee, and former University of California President’s Postdoctoral Fellow, Institute for Digital Research and Education Postdoctoral Fellow at UCLA, and NSF Ridge to Reef Fellow at UC Irvine.
